THE MARKET PLACE BUXTON
The Market Place Buxton is a brand new network of managed theatres for the Buxton Festival Fringe. We aim to offer high quality, live experiences and fully embrace the spirit of the Fringe. We are a friendly, easy to use venue and we strive to make your experience at the fringe as rewarding as possible.
We are looking for artists from all art forms, from cabaret, to dance, mime, puppetry, poetry, comedy, new writing, music, physical theatre and devised work. We aim to take work from professionals or groups with a reputation for quality, however if you are just starting out and feel you have something really special, please do get in touch!
Please note: for the Fringe 2014 only the Loft will be available for hire

30 seat flexible space. Ideally located to grab audiences soaking up the sunshine in the Beer Garden.

150 seat end on space with comprehensive lighting cover and programmable lights. Two fully stocked bars.
The Loft
50 seat flexible space. Dimmable washes. Fixed seating is also available with comfy sofas! Full bar.
Gaslight Lounge
Ideal venue for intimate events, comedy and cabaret. 30 seats in traverse and 20 end-on. Fully stocked bar.
Beer Garden
The Sun is shining and the beer is cold. A great place to enjoy the Fringe spirit between shows.
